On Nov 14, he and I traveled down by Lawton, OK, where we grew up, to one of our old haunts, the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. It was actually quite a nice day.
It was hotter climbing on the rocks than we were expecting and we took a certain amount of care hauling around thousands of dollars of camera equipment. Still, it was one of the best times
that I have had, even without our usual helter-skelter rock-hopping.
